Reporting errors manually

Usually when an error occurs in BizApp a dialog appears that allows you to submit the error to Custom Intelligence.
If you are experiencing an error that does not give you this option, you can perform this proceedure to submit the error to us manually.

To perform this procedure you must be in advanced mode.

Navigate to Window>Show View>Other>General>Error Log
This will display the error log view.
with the error log open, recreate the problem you are having.
You should see a new entry appear in the error log when you attempt to perform the action that is not functioning properly.

If you do not see a new error appear, then the program does not think anything is malfunctioning. In this case, you should check all the settings that could influence the item you are dealing with. 

If a new error does appear, double click on it to open the event details dialog.

In the upper right hand corner, click on the  icon to copy the information to your clipboard

Send an email to support@customintelligence.net and give the details of what you were trying to do when the error occurred. 
paste the contents of the clipboard into the email. The information you are sending is known as a "Stack Trace", and it allows us to see exactly where in the program code the error is occurring.
